Findraiser NIght

Well what can I say other than I experienced an amasing thing and that was the power of passionate people coming together. My Fundraiser Night was a wonderful success, we had over 50 people including families attend a fantastic night. We raised $7,000 including a donation of $7,000 from Better Homes over a period of the next 6 months and that is to fit out the Child Rescue Centre to house 10 babies.

A part of my plan / dream is for the community of Port Macquarie to adopt the community of Odede and I now believe that will come true. There are an amazing amount of people who want to come to Odede with me next year to participate in the development of the educational facility within the village of Odede. When I return in October of this year I will have another gathering, not a Fundrdaiser, so that the people who were involved and want to be involved in the Odede Project can see first hand where their donations went.

I sincerely thank all those people who could not attend the Fundraiser that made such generous donations. I promise you all that this is just the beginning of something life changing not only for the families of Odede but for the families of Port Macquarie. Until next time just remember 'don't listen to people when they say you're just a fool to believe you can change the world' because we already have and will continue to............
